Paul Norman has engaged in pure nuclear physics research, including significant contributions at both CERN and at Brookhaven national lab, where he was the first person to find the rare Xi and Omega particles.
His research interests span the areas of:

Nuclear physics

Nuclear waste assay
Dr Norman is involved in supervising PhDs in the area of nuclear power.
