Michael’s research interests include the detection and interpretation of nociception and how this may influence or interact with function, disability, prognosis and health outcomes across a range of patient populations and diseases. Michael has experience and expertise in psychophysics (quantitative sensory testing, conditioned pain modulation) methods, mixed methods and evidence synthesis methods.
