I am interested in being second supervisor, with a first supervisor selected among members of the LACAB (Language and Cognition at Birmingham) network, for research projects investigating psychological aspects of language learning and bi/multilingualism, in particular second language writing systems, effects of orthography on phonology, linguistic relativism, sacred language learning and use.
