Abstract

Discusses the court's grounds in Basfar v Wong (SC) for finding a foreign diplomat could not claim immunity in a domestic worker's modern slavery action against him as the conduct concerned fell within the "commercial activity" exception of the Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961 art.31(1)(c).
