Abstract
The Estoria de Espanna Digital is the first large-scale attempt to edit digitally a work of medieval Iberian prose. This article places the Estoria edition in the context of current theoretical debates about digital editing, which themselves emerge from the Anglo-American school of editorial theory, in order to propose (r)evolutionary innovative ways of conceiving of the object of study.
