Abstract

These resources were created by a team of scholars at the Universities of Birmingham, Illinois Urbana Champaign, and Oxford. We met for an intensive workshop in May 2023, where we discussed both theoretical and practical approaches to play and pedagogy. We then co-designed and tested a range of resources, which you can find in this booklet, along with the activity’s goals, notes about how to use the activity in your classroom, a list of materials and any printable materials, handouts, worksheets, slides, etc.

Funded by the Birmingham-Illinois Partnership for Discovery, Engagement and Education.
