Abstract

This edited collection sets out 13 essays, written in Spanish and authored by Colombian, Spanish and Argentinian scholars. The collection aims to evaluate how victims of mass atrocity are served by available legal responses, particularly, but not exclusively, transitional justice mechanisms. While the chapters analyse this topic from a number of perspectives, including social psychology, international law and philosophy, the viewpoint of criminal law and procedure is predominant throughout the book. The breadth of perspectives is one of the strengths of this book.
