Personal profile

Research interests

I study the switches by which we flexibly adjust how we learn and make decisions, and how we set these switches according to our momentary goals and our  motivational states. I combine behavioral measures and computational modeling with eye-tracking, psychophysiological recordings and neuroimaging techniques. The long term goal of my work is to identify levers that empower people to improve not only their learning and decision-making, but also how they feel about it.
