Andrew Bradbury leads the delivery of an innovative, evidence-based, high quality vascular and endovascular academic surgical service for both arterial and venous disease at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust. He also undertakes clinical and basic science research in arterial and venous disease. Professor Bradbury's research activity and doctoral supervision interests further incorporate:

The HTA-funded Bypass versus Angioplasty in Severe Ischaemia of the Leg trial
Ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy for chronic venous insufficiency (CVI and thrombophilia)
Screening for MRSA in surgical patients and effect on clinical outcomes
Coagulation, fibrinolysis and myocardial injury in patients undergoing vascular interventions
Arterial wall compliance and the development and progression of arterial disease
Epidemiology of arterial and venous disease with a special interest in ethnicity
