Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests are in materials for energy storage, particularly in ionically conductive ceramics, glass-ceramics, glasses and polymers for energy storage applications. I am particularly interested in the interfaces between these materials and anodes, cathodes, anolytes and catholytes within solid-state and semi-solid-state batteries, and how these materials fail during electrochemical operation of the device.
