PhD projects

Kirsty Hill has a strong academic background in dental public health and behavioural science. She is currently working on research projects in the following areas:

National survey into adult dental health
Outcomes of periodontal therapy in rheumatoid arthritis
Premature retirement in dentistry

In the area of behavioural science her research interests include dental anxiety, psychological treatment of gagging patients, and the training needs of GDPs in treating anxious dental patients.

Dr Hill welcomes applications from potential doctoral researchers in her areas of interest.
